"When looking for a venue for my daughter’s wedding, we were not sure of what we wanted, but we
had a fair idea of what we did NOT want 😊 We had not even heard of La Grandiose prior to seeing
the signage while driving past. With no expectations, we made an appointment to view with an
open mind, and what we found inside was truly amazing. A beautiful, stylish venue, bright,
airy, tastefully decorated and without the claustrophobic draping.
Tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, décor, security, wait-staff, sound system, projector,
even a chair-lift for elderly and infirm guests – everything was just perfect. We had been
visiting other venues prior to this and every issue we had elsewhere was sorted here before
we could even ask. Beautiful crockery, nothing chipped, broken or stained, cutlery for every
place-setting, tables and chairs so lovely that there was no need for table-cloths or chair
covers. I was impressed by the supreme competence of Yaseen Hoosen who helped us get the best
out of the venue to fit our vision. Where we encountered what we thought were problems, he
immediately suggested viable solutions. More impressive was that every interaction between
him and us, our caterer, DJ, support crew and guests was handled professionally and with
utmost respect. The bottom line is, the entire event was executed flawlessly, thanks to the
superb event management at La Grandiose. We have been getting non-stop compliments from our
friends and family about how awesome the wedding was and how much fun they had – hard to
believe this was in Lenz! 🙃"
